Rothbury beat Bedlington Terrier Reserves 4-3 in the North Northumberland Football League at the weekend.

Adam Hall gave Rothbury a two goal lead with Phil Gowans pulling a goal back from the penalty spot for the Terriers before half time.

Richard Hooks extended the lead for Rothbury and though Michael Grieves hit back for the visitors, Hall completed his hat-trick before Chris Dobie got a consolation for Bedlington.

Rothbury Reserves, however, lost 8-0 to Embleton Whinstone Rovers.

David Drysdale and Jonny Colly both netted half-tricks with further goals from Chris Chisholm and Richard Thompson.
